Question 1

Who provides mobile EV charging in Palmdale?

Accepted Answer

Palmdale Mobile EV Charging is a local independent operator serving the Antelope Valley as part of the EEE Rescue™ mobile EV charging network. The network provides centralized dispatch coordination while our local operator performs the on-site charging service.

Question 2

Can you help if my EV runs out of charge?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We dispatch mobile AC Level 2 charging equipment to your location so you can receive enough charge to reach a working charging station. Call our 24/7 dispatch line at 916-826-9410 or submit a request online.

Question 3

Can you charge my Tesla?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our equipment uses an SAE J1772 connector with a Tesla adapter available. Most Tesla models are compatible, but please confirm your specific model and year with dispatch before service begins.

Question 4

How much does mobile EV charging cost?

Accepted Answer

Our packages start at $199 for 15 minutes of supervised charging (Quick Rescue), $329 for 30 minutes (Standard Rescue), and $429 for 45 minutes (Extended Rescue). After-hours service (6 PM–6 AM Pacific) adds $50. A complete quote is confirmed by dispatch before any service begins.

Question 5

Is this Level 2 or DC fast charging?

Accepted Answer

This is AC Level 2 charging only. We do not provide DC fast charging or Level 3 charging. AC Level 2 charging delivers power more slowly than a DC fast charger but is sufficient to give your vehicle enough range to reach a working charging station.

Question 6

How much range can I receive?

Accepted Answer

The amount of range delivered varies by vehicle make, model, battery state, and ambient temperature. Range gained is not guaranteed. Your dispatch coordinator can provide general guidance based on your vehicle type, but actual results depend on conditions at the time of service.

Question 7

How long does charging take?

Accepted Answer

Our service packages are 15, 30, or 45 minutes of supervised charging time. This is the time the charging equipment is actively delivering power to your vehicle and does not include operator travel time or setup.

Question 8

Do you serve Lancaster and surrounding areas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We serve Lancaster in addition to Palmdale and the broader Antelope Valley. Outlying areas beyond the standard Palmdale/Lancaster service area may require dispatch confirmation and may incur additional mileage charges ($3–$5 per mile).

Question 9

What if my vehicle will not accept a charge?

Accepted Answer

Please contact dispatch before requesting service. Your vehicle must have a functional charging port and be able to accept AC Level 2 charging via SAE J1772 (or Tesla adapter). If your vehicle cannot accept a charge due to a vehicle malfunction, that is outside the scope of our mobile charging service.

Question 10

Can you charge fleet or dealership vehicles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We provide mobile EV charging for dealership lots, car rental fleets, fleet vehicles, and business operations within about 100 miles of Palmdale. Fleet and dealership services are quoted individually based on the number of vehicles, location, and scheduling needs. Contact us through the fleet inquiry form or call dispatch.

Question 11

Where can I find mobile EV charging near me in Palmdale or Lancaster?

Accepted Answer

If you are in Palmdale, Lancaster, or the Antelope Valley, call 916-826-9410 (24/7 dispatch). Palmdale Mobile EV Charging sends an operator with AC Level 2 charging equipment to your location — home, work, parking lot, or a safe roadside spot. There is no station to drive to.

Question 12

What is the service radius for dealerships, car rental companies, and fleets?

Accepted Answer

Dealership, car rental, and fleet charging is available by appointment within about 100 miles of Palmdale, including the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita, Victor Valley, Mojave, California City, and Tehachapi areas. Each job is custom-quoted; mileage is included in the quote.

Question 13

Do you charge car rental fleets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can charge rental cars returned low on battery, top up vehicles before pickups, and run scheduled lot charging for rental branches and car-share operators within about 100 miles of Palmdale. Call dispatch or use the fleet inquiry form for a custom quote.

Question 14

When does the after-hours fee apply?

Accepted Answer

A $50 after-hours surcharge applies to service between 6 PM and 6 AM Pacific Time. Dispatch confirms the complete price before service begins.

Question 15

How far will you travel for an emergency EV charge?

Accepted Answer

Palmdale and Lancaster are the standard service area. Outlying communities such as Rosamond, Acton, Littlerock, Lake Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Mojave, California City, Tehachapi, and Victorville require dispatch confirmation and a mileage charge of $3–$5 per mile. Arrival times are estimated, not guaranteed.

Question 16

Is this a public charging station?

Accepted Answer

No. This is not a public charging station. Palmdale Mobile EV Charging is a mobile on-site service. Our operator dispatches to your location with portable Level 2 charging equipment. There is no fixed charging station to visit.

Question 17

How do I request help?

Accepted Answer

Call our 24/7 dispatch line at 916-826-9410 for the fastest response. You can also submit an online request form on our website. Submitting a form does not confirm dispatch — service is confirmed when dispatch contacts you with pricing and availability.
